It gives detailed information about the categories.

Categories: A product category **is a type of product or service. Product categories are typically created by a firm or industry organization to organize products. Here the admin can add various categories available in his /her particular store and manage it by editing, deleting the categories and admin can also enable and disable toggle buttons based on their availability .. so that if toggle button is set false that category which is disabled will not appear in the user app ..if it is set to true it appears in the user app so that end users can purchase it.

To add a new category click on add category button at the top right corner so that it redirects to the add category page as displayed in the below screenshot.

To add a new category you need to fill in the following fields :

Title: A category title is something where you list your category in an eCommerce store with a title providing all the required information regarding your category, thus helping users to perceive your category better.

‌Description: Category description is the marketing copy that explains what a category **is and why it's worth purchasing. The purpose of a category description is to supply customers with important information about the features and benefits of the categories so they're compelled to buy.

‌Select File: Here you can choose the image of that particular category you want to add from your device.

‌After filling in all the above fields You can click on add category button at bottom ..so that your category gets added successfully.
